hi there, thay will ask you are you sorry for what you did? and tell them that you are very sorry.let them know that you are sad, and act repentant. tell them what you did. 'give and take' and how stupid you where for doing it. then bow your head very low in your hands. rub your eyes look up and say! how can i live with myself? disappointing 'Jehovah' please forgive me. at that point lower your head in your hands and make a wimpering sound. this works very well. after you are 'back' go out in service until you are respected. then switch halls, and you will be ready to give it a try with another group of elders that won't have a clue. may you live long and prosper.

Media coverage --- how much?
by LoneWolf ini've been doing the best i can to keep up, but my work schedule of 60 to 70 hours a week makes things rather impossible sometimes.
as of the beginning of this week i've pared it back some, although other things are crowding in.. at any rate, i need to get a rough overview of how much media coverage there has been on the pedophile situation.
i know that a few weeks ago someone started a thread on this, listing the names and cities of the newspapers that had run articles on it, but i think it (the thread) ended up petering out.

Have you partaken?
by writerpen inthis sunday will be my first partaking of the bread and wine at communion.
almost a year after having come away from the dubs and i'm just now feeling "safe" to partake.
so for those of you who have experienced this already, what do i do if i drop the bread on the floor by accident?

i went on the bethel coach tours trip to mexico around easter. saw all these people going in to a church. looked around to make shure the coast was clear and entered my first church. got sprinkled shook hands and walked up to the front and was hand fed a waffer. does that count?

for me, it's taken yrs of not believing. knowing it.walking out. going back for a love bomb. for 2 months. then running out and making new friends. thru hell and high water! and so far it's been of course a life changing experience. more good than bad.

when i got out i joined a free adventure hiking ect group, and other activitys with other groups, bring a camera have somone take a picture with you in the group, when asked, show the pictures and say if i go back to the jws i'l have to leave all my friends. it works for me.

ExJW Meetup Report
by obiefernandez inwell, i had the pleasure of spending a few hours in little five points, atlanta, arguably the most bohemian neighborhood that we have here.
always a freak-fest, so probably a good location for the meeting.
funny anecdote, i was the only one that was there at the meeting time and walked around asking people if they were here for the exjw meetup.

the beaverton meet up was fun, it was the first jw get together i'v been to where i could be myself and be with others that i had so much in common with, looking forward to next time if it don't get in the way of the nw apostofest.

JWs: No Social Conscience
by Room 215 inof all the delusions a jw labors under, perhaps none is more tragic than the one that deprives him/her of the truly satisfying reward of spontaneous help to a fellow human being in need.
this is achieved by the promulgation of the notion that the jw ``join us or die'' ministry is the single most worthwhile endeavor any human can aspire to, and supercedes any other claims on a jw's time, talents or resources.
although wts literature targeted for public consumption cleverly words any reference to charitable works to deliberately create the misimpression that jws excel in this regard, the social pressure within the organization against involvement of significant effort and time in humanitarian voluteerism is palpable.

when i was exiting, i decided to volunteer for meals on wheels to help myself recover by truly helping others, you should have seen look of puzzlement on my parents and on other witnesses faces when i told them what i was doing.
